For nearly 100 years, Sacred Heart School has held its annual Fourth of July Picnic on the school’s campus to raise money for the school. This picnic is the largest fundraiser for the school each year. People throughout the area attend the picnic which starts with a 5K run at 8 a.m., includes and auction, and ends with a raffle drawing at 9 p.m. Hundreds of people attend the picnic each year, which also includes concessions, games, inflatables, beauty pageant, bicycle parade, and chicken dinner.
