Description

I write to invite you for a special opportunity to support survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in LA County.

The Los Angeles Center for Law and Justice is celebrating 50 years of service in the community! LACLJ provides free legal services for low-income, immigrant survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking. Our mission is to secure justice for survivors and empower them to create their own futures. By providing expert legal representation and community advocacy, LACLJ is helping survivors end abuse, protect their children, and build economic stability.

LACLJ will be hosting our annual gala, Celebrating Survivors, in Hollywood at the Taglyan Complex on May 16th, 2024. The gala is our largest, most inspiring event of the year, featuring impactful client testimonials and recognizing key leaders in our community making a difference for immigrant survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. This year’s honorees are Jones Day, Melanie Mandles, and Princeton Internships in Civic Service. The evening brings together over 500 guests from the legal, entertainment, corporate and nonprofit sectors.

We ask for your support in donating a gift towards our online auction, so we can raise funds to provide free legal services to low-income survivors. Your investment and support of our mission will ensure survivors – no matter their socioeconomic or immigration status – have an opportunity to secure justice and a chance to build more hopeful futures, free from violence.

I hope you will join us in supporting survivors’ access to justice. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for your consideration!
