Volar is a Dallas, TX nonprofit where we believe in the power of education to transform lives. Our mission is to empower and educate students about their higher education and career options. Together with their families, we help students find the path that most aligns with their values and strengths. We offer our services completely free of charge, prioritizing first-generation students in the Dallas area. On average, our students receive 10 hours of individualized advising - an invaluable resource when you consider that the average high school student in the U.S. receives just 38 minutes of college and career guidance.

We are hosting our upcoming Loteria Night event on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at Apprentice Creative Space from 5:30PM-8:00PM. This annual fundraising event aims to raise crucial funds to support our work of increasing degree attainment and providing comprehensive support to students and their families.

As we prepare for Loteria Night, we are seeking in-kind donations that can be used as prizes or auction items during the event. Your generous contribution will not only help us create a fun and engaging experience for our attendees but will also directly support the critical work we do with students who need it most.
