AAPI Montclair is a 501(c)3 nonprofit whose mission is to create a more inclusive community by uplifting the varied experiences of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, advocating for AAPI rights and representation, and promoting awareness and education around AAPI culture and history. 

Since forming in early 2021, we have advanced AAPI inclusion and belonging through cultural events drawing 30,000 attendees; local, state, and national advocacy, including anti-hate work and critical support for New Jersey’s historic AAPI curriculum mandate; partnerships with local schools; youth programs, mental health support, public safety trainings, and more.
