I am writing on behalf of the Douglas MacArthur Elementary School PTO to discuss possible donations for our upcoming "Mac's Favorite Things" raffle fundraiser. Mac is our new school mascot (he's a mustang horse), and we are planning a spring raffle for him to give away some of his "favorite things". 

The best way for our organization to raise funds for this, of course, is by raffling donated items. This link details just a few of the programs and items that our PTO funds for our school. We have a student population of 435, with about 20% of that population living at the poverty level. As you can imagine, our organization is much-needed at our school. Many of our students turn to us for those "fun extras" in their lives (think Trunk or Treat, ice cream socials, animal assemblies when we're allowed to provide...) as well as school supplies and other educational needs. We fundraise year-round to ensure that we can meet these needs and provide the best experience possible for ALL students.

If you would be so kind as to consider donating an item for our raffle, we would be so appreciative. We realize this is a large request and that you likely receive a large volume of requests. We are grateful for any consideration and understand that this may not be possible. Any companies that do donate will receive recognition via our FB page, newsletter, website, flyers, tickets, etc.
