WRC is looking forward to our 40th annual “Magical Evening” fundraiser being held on Friday, September 10, 2021. Each year, over 100 guests from all over Southern California join us for an evening of food, music, beverage tasting, and a great selection of auction items. Last year, with the help of our supporters who either help to sponsor the event or donated auction items, we raised over $70,000 for WRC programs. We are looking forward to an even more successful fundraising event this year at, The Crossings at Carlsbad.
Thanks to the support of organizations, each year WRC is able to impact the lives of hundreds if not thousands of women, men, and children affected by domestic violence, sexual violence, and their many forms. Every day, the WRC strives to empower survivors of abuse to achieve their full potential in addition to engaging the community in educational initiatives to inspire others to work towards a safer, more compassionate society. We do this by maintaining and operating a variety of wrap-around support services specialized for survivors of violence and their children, including emergency shelter, transitional housing, counseling services, crisis intervention, and case management.
We humbly request your support for this year’s silent and online auctions. All proceeds of the auctions are used so that we may continue to provide the highest-quality services to survivors of abuse and their children.
