Striving to make magical moments and forever memories in the lives of children with life threatening and terminal illnesses is the mission statement for Magical Memories, a 501c3 non profit. We hold  events through out the year for children who have been diagnosed with a devastating illness. Our purpose is to give these children days where they can just be a kid and put there illnesses behind them for a  moment in time. Family is very important and often these families are divided and family time as a unit is lost due to one parent needing to be with and care for the ill child-transporting them to multiple appointments, treatments, extended hospital stays (often at a hospital not close to their home) etc. Our goal is the moment in time but also the forever memories to cherish especially in the instance one of these children looses their fight to their illness. It is something the child and family have to look forward to several times a year and year and year not just one time. Our big event is an annual holiday extravaganza, to provide a day of fellowship, family unity  and making memories to last a life time especially for those that lose their children to their illnesses. We are holding a silent auction at this event where all proceeds help offset the cost of the event itself.
