The 2nd annual Maine Strong Softball Tournament, Raffle, and Auction will be taking place on October 12th and 13th, 2024 in Lewiston and Auburn, Maine.

 
On October 25th, 2023 a tragic mass shooting occurred in Lewiston, Maine that took the lives of 18 people and injured many more. Our group decided to plan a charity softball tournament, raffle, and auction just two weeks after the tragedy that raised over $207,000 for the families of the 18 victims.

We decided to create a formal non-profit, the Maine Strong Memorial Foundation, in order to provide temporary financial relief to Maine families that experience unexpected tragedy.

This year’s event will benefit the same 18 families, the Maine Resiliency Center which has served as a resource for the 150+ people that were at the two locations where the tragedy occurred, and some funds will be set aside for future campaigns.
