Did you know UNICEF estimates there are 140 million orphans worldwide? Many of these orphans will never get to realize what a loving family environment is like. Many will be denied proper medical care, basic necessities, clean food and water - the things we take for granted every day. On November 9, 2024, Hope International will celebrate 29 years of Making Miracles around the world, through uniting orphans with loving families in the United States, and providing aid to those who remain behind. We have been able to do this with funds raised during our annual Making Miracles fundraising gala. This event not only increases awareness to help connect orphaned children to their ‘forever families’ but also raises funds that help provide essential supplies to children who may never know the love of a family. The majority of our clients live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, so we truly serve a need locally as well as internationally. Last year, over 500 people, business and/or corporations were touched by Hope’s message and mission. They donated a product, funds, or a gift certificate to be included as part of our silent and live auction at our event. Will you donate an item for us to place in our silent auction? Our Mission… Making Miracles Happen for Children Around the World! In 2023, Hope International provided services to over 100 families, serving a vital role in uniting orphaned children with their permanent families! Much of our work last year was focused on helping to care for the orphans who were impacted by the war in Ukraine. We provided funds to help children evacuate Ukraine, as well as provide tablets, mattresses, and funds for food and clothing. Our Executive Director traveled to Poland, where she brought supplies for Ukrainian orphans and their caregivers. We were also able to help families complete their adoptions in and Bangladesh, India, Nigeria, and Pakistan. This was possible due to the generosity of donors like you. All donors will be prominently recognized in the event program and, since Hope International is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, your generous donation is tax-deductible.
