Description

Malakoff High School is hosting a fundraiser dinner and live auction on Saturday, January 22nd, 2022. The proceeds (100%) from this event will be split equally between the Softball and Baseball programs for the upcoming 2022 season. Your generosity will allow both programs to purchase spikes, flats, jackets, bat bags, individual helmets, and other practice equipment for all the players. Our baseball team had a historic run last season and won the UIL 3A State Championship for the 2021 season, and our supporters have played a vital role in the success of our programs. We will also have numerous social media, radio, print, and other marketing campaigns leading up to the event, and all donors/sponsors will be acknowledged during these campaigns. All donors/sponsors will also be highlighted in our event program at the night of the dinner and auction on January 22nd, 2022. Malakoff is a small town/school located on the southern edge of Cedar Creek Lake southeast of Dallas. Our community puts a lot of effort and support into our local school system and sports teams. We have witnessed the impact this has on our kids, both on the field and in all areas of their lives, and two of our schools were recognized this year by US News and World Reports as TOP schools in the US. I can personally attest that our local businesses and the community as a whole does everything in its power to make sure our young men and young women have the same opportunities to succeed as the larger schools. We have a saying around here "We Believe" and last year's historic State Championship run for our baseball team was affirmation of that saying. The love and support we see from our fan base, affectionately referred to as Tiger Nation, is nothing short of remarkable...and it extends beyond just sports. This is one of the reasons my wife and I chose to move back home after living in the greater Dallas area for 10 years. Thank you in advance for your generosity and support. Take care.
