We are excited to bring back the Mallard Auction this year, a Maybeury Elementary PTA Fundraiser and Party, that will take place on Friday, March 4, 2022, at the Westwood Club in Richmond. We will hold a silent auction using mobile bidding as well as a live auction and live music. We look forward to a fun night of fundraising and hope you will consider making a donation to support our public elementary school.

Our fundraising efforts and the generosity of those in our community have made a significant impact on our school. With the money raised from previous years’ auctions, we have purchased a literacy program proven to get children reading faster, stocked our STREAM Lab with learning materials, and purchased voice amplifiers for teachers so children can hear them speaking with masks on. We also use proceeds for our annual PTA operating budget, which includes weekly lessons in the Maybeury Learning Garden and provides assistance with needed school and classroom supplies. 

If you are not familiar with our school, Maybeury is a public elementary school that opened in 1958 and is located in Western Henrico County. Our school community benefits from its incredible diversity with families from 32 different countries of origin and, like many public schools, relies on the dedication and hard work of its teachers, staff members, and an active PTA. Our school is committed to providing a superior education for all students, which includes a variety of teaching and learning approaches, the implementation of the latest instructional strategies and tools, and a celebration of students’ individual talents and interests.
