We’re hoping your organization would consider a donation to the Manhattan New School (MNS) for our Spring Gala & Auction on April 13th, 2024 or Rock The Block Festival on May 4th 2024. A cumulative 850 families attend these events, 400 of which are from our school community.

The Rock the Block Festival is a community event that's open to all members of the public. Well be having games, rides, food and activities for the community including the students of PS 290. Proceeds raised during the event will benefit the kids curriculum as the Department of Education only funds a portion of their annual needs.

Manhattan New School (MNS) is a public elementary school in New York City (P.S. 290). Funds that the PTA raises during our Spring fundraising season are critical to improving the teacher-to-student ratio in the classroom, facilitates our arts & sciences program, and provides other critical classroom resources such as classroom technology.

**WE ARE COMBINING BOTH EVENTS IN ONE POST - COULD PROVIDE SEPERATE**

We’re in need of auction items, food, and/or party supplies. Below are an example of some items that could be helpful for our event: 1) Individual Drinks (Juices, Water, and/or Soda). 2) Individual Snack Packs (Chips, Pretzels, Popcorn 3) Other Snack Items: Fruit Snacks, Chewy Granola Bars, or other Breakfast Bars. Auction items would include gift certificates, packages, and/or in-kind items that will be auctioned to raise money for the school.
