The Matteson Area Public LIbrary District is hosting our 2nd annual MAPLD FanFest, August 14th and 15th, 2020 and this time were going virtual via Facebook Live!  Last year we had over 800+ attendees come through our door to take part in the event.  Like before, we strive to combine both educational and fun programming throughout the event.  With the help of donations we were able to provide books, comics, freebies, tickets to events, food certificates, etc to every attendee. We have partnerd with our community center to host programming prior to the fest such as an outdoor movie showing.  There was a need for an event of this type in our community and with the help of donations we are hopeful to continue to provide thsi event for years to come.
