Hello!

It is with great pride that we announce the details for the Mar Vista Elementary School Gala & Auction "Bids For Kids" 2024 and invite you to support.  Mar Vista Elementary, a diverse public school in Los Angeles, has achieved outstanding academic success, ranking in the top 2% of elementary schools in California and 8th among 487 ranked elementary schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District with a Great School score 9/10. This remarkable achievement is due to the tireless efforts of our stellar teachers, administrators, dedicated parents and businesses who believe in supporting the public school system with their time and contributions. 

The upcoming Gala & Auction will be hosted by MVE's parent-run booster club, Mar Vista School Enrichment Group (MVSEG), which directly provides essential programs such as: music, art, science, computer, PE, and Spanish (launching in 2023-24), as well as teachers' aides, a librarian, school beautification, and more. Without continued fundraising efforts and support from organizations like yours, these programs and enrichment activities would be at risk.

Our Gala, on March 16, 2024, will culminate a 2-week period of in-person and online auctions and celebrations.  Our goal is $175,000.  Any in-kind contributions to our online and live auction make a huge impact toward our goal and donors will be marketed to our 500+ families and hundreds of community supporters and alumni. 

In-kind donations may be used in our online auction, live auction, Gala raffle gift baskets, teacher appreciation or sponsor recognition gifts.  All donors will receive marketing inclusion in the proper marketing forums such as online auction catalogs, gala programs and social media.

All donations are are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.  MVSEG is a 501c3 organization.
