Run, walk, or roll with us in our virtual 5K to raise funds for the home meal delivery program! What is a virtual 5K? It’s a race you do on your own time and in your own neighborhood. You can run or walk your 5K anytime during the week of March 20th – 26th.
Proceeds from this event will support the Meals on Wheels Chicago program, which serves seniors and individuals with disabilities who are struggling with food insecurity. You can participate in the virtual 5K from anywhere in the world! Find a trail, park, treadmill, or track in your neighborhood and you’re all set! Keep your own time and record it on our race website.
Presented by the Meals on Wheels Chicago Associate Board, this year’s event will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of a national nutrition program for seniors – commonly referred to as Meals on Wheels. Your support directly impacts our clients and delivers healthy, fresh food right to their door.
