The Malverne Music Parents, Inc is a non-profit organization who works to fundraise for the four schools in the Malverne School District. In November we are hosting the High School Marching Band Celebration Dinner and Auction, for the high school marching band and their families. We are celebrating the end of a competitive marching band season and raising money through the auction for the following band season. The Pride of Malverne Marching Band competes annually in the NY State Marching Band competitions and any funds we raise will help to purchase new instruments, music equipment, materials and tools to make props, costumes, and to help offset the cost of the competitions for the band students. Our goal is to ensure our students have the funding and means to be successful.

Our organization prides itself in ensuring funding for music and the arts are available to all students in the district. Marching Band is so important to the students as it provides inclusivity and allows students to learn skills in leadership and discipline. Marching band allows our students to have a creative performance outlet where both the musical and visual aspect of the performance are incorporated. These performances in competition instill life skills so students gain pride and confidence. Working with others in marching band provides camaraderie and teaches respect for others and self-worth. Overall marching band provides every band member with countless musical, social and emotional benefits.
