Description

The Charles Gravius Memorial Library is a non-profit private library that serves the Village of Marine and surrounding rural towns.  There is no fee to check out books and we are not supported by any entity or local taxes. Our Library is housed in a National Historic building erected in 1911 for the American Women's League that helped promote the women's suffrage movement. The library and maintenance of our building is done solely by a group of dedicated volunteers who are devoted to continuing free services to residents of Marine and nearby communities. The library operates solely on funds from a small endowment, donations and fundraisers.  The Village of Marine will be holding a Homecoming on June 23 & 24.  The library will hold a basket raffle during the homecoming.  We are interested in obtaining Six Flags tickets to put in a raffle basket.
