Plans are underway for the 2023 Huntington Beach Wetlands Conservancy benefit Gala, “Marsh
Madness II”. Our event will be on Friday, March 3, 2023, at the Huntington Beach Senior
Center. Not only will this be a wonderful, filled evening, but your contribution will also help the
Conservancy in our mission to acquire, restore, and protect the coastal wetlands of Huntington
Beach. The Conservancy is passionate about creating, preserving, and educating the public and
we welcome the community to assist us.

Today, I am asking you to make a commitment by making, 1) a cash donation, or 2) by donating
an item or service for our silent or live auction. The Huntington Beach Wetlands Conservancy is
exempt under 501(c)(3) of the IRS and this gift is tax deductible (Tax ID #33-0145660). All items
or services will be auctioned off at the event, giving your company exposure to others in your
community as well as your support to such an important cause. Additionally, donors over
$1,500.00 will be listed in the Official Program.

To protect the wetlands, we rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses like you for
support. Your donation will provide the necessary tools to protect, restore and maintain our
wetlands with educational programs on our marshes, school field trips, volunteer activities, and
other important projects. The net proceeds from the gala will be used to maintain and protect
hundreds of species of fish, animals, and plants, several of which are on the US endangered and
threatened species list.
