Organization Description/Mission Statement: 

The TCGIS PTO is an organization whose purpose is to strengthen, enhance and encourage the education and social environment of Twin Cities German Immersion School. Our goals are meant to complement the school curriculum and teachers while fostering community with opportunities for students, families, and staff to learn, socialize, communicate, and grow.

Event Description: 

Maskenball is an annual gala (adults-only, black tie event) hosted by the Twin Cities German Immersion School PTO to celebrate our community as a whole. There will be drinks, appetizers, a DJ, silent action, and art auction. This year's theme will be "circus gala" and local circus performers will be putting on a show as school families enjoy a grand party event. 

Use of Funds: 

The majority of the proceeds from Maskenball comes from our silent auction, and most of those proceeds support our teachers directly by providing classroom enrichment materials (ie: classroom supplies, German and English workbooks, and anything else the teachers need). Some of the proceeds from this event will also go towards purchasing new equipment for the school playground.
