Masquerade for Dreams
Gala/Party for Dream Factory of OregonOct 13, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM
We are an all-volunteer non-profit organization located in Portland, Oregon. Our mission is to grant dreams to children who suffer from critical and chronic illnesses in the entire state of Oregon and SW Washington. Because we are all volunteers, we are proud to say that 90 percent of the funds raised from our gala remain right here, granting dreams to the deserving children of our community. The Dream Factory is the only wish granting organization that does not limit its mission to children with life threatening illnesses.
In 2017 we sent Rachel to New York City to meet with the BBC. We got a recumbent tricycle for Bethany who survived a stroke as an infant and a basketball wheelchair for Liam who woke up paralyzed from the waist down from a rare spinal virus. We sent Gabe, who has Ehlers-Danlos; to Disney World to meet the Disney Imagineers and Sayge, who’s stomach is paralyzed; to New York to meet her favorite Broadway Star Sutton Foster. These are just some of the amazing dreams we granted. Our average dream costs $6000 and we hope to raise enough funds to grant at least 20 dreams in 2019.
