On Wednesday, September 25th, WeSPARK Cancer Support Center will be hosting our annual event: May Contain Nuts!… A Night of Comedy at the Skirball Cultural Center.  This is WeSPARK’s biggest fundraiser of the year with a goal to raise $225,000 for our FREE cancer support services and programs.  This year’s May Contain Nuts! A Night of Comedy will feature headline comics to be announced soon.  Previous stand-up comics have included Jay Leno, Ray Romano, Wanda Sykes, Howie Mandel, Jason Alexander, Kevin Nealon, and Billy Gardell, to name a few.  We will also present The Heart of WeSPARK Award to Jean Trebek, of the Alex Trebek Fund and insidewink Podcast Host, Reiki Master & Sound Healer.

WeSPARK Cancer Support Center provides FREE services and programs to those impacted by cancer.  The goal of these services and programs is to alleviate the physical and emotional side effects of a cancer diagnosis.  Our unique model of care ensures our complementary services address interrelated issues and empower guests to manage their cancer journey.  Our services include support groups, meditative services, and movement classes. The auction is a fun and very important part of the event as it helps us raise the critical funds we need for the guests we support in the community.  All auction contributors will be highlighted on the event website, on-site at the event, included on all social media platform posts and in marketing emails to our database of over 10,000 contacts, and a listing in the Tribute Program (contributions valued at $1,000 or more will receive a complimentary Full-Page Ad in the Tribute Program).
