Every year our school has May Day.  Kids from all grades (K-6) do a performance while the 6th graders wrap the May Pole.  The whole community comes out for this event.  During this event our organization hosts a basket raffle.  The monies raised during our raffle helps to fund things for the students of our local elementary school.  In the past we have purchased art supplies, musical instruments, books, gym equipment, funded field trips, etc.  The more baskets we can raffle off the more money we can raise to support the students and their needs.
