Description

Dear Friend of the BEF,

Spring has sprung at the Bedford Education Foundation!

After a very long two year hiatus, we are thrilled to be reaching out to you to announce the return of in-person events for the Bedford Education Foundation! We know that these times have been difficult for all, and we are incredibly grateful to our local businesses. We have sustained each other as a community, and we will come back stronger for it.

We are proud to have pivoted over the past two years to fundraise in smaller, contactless ways that have continued to engage our community. Covid has not stopped the BEF. That said, nothing can replace our annual galas in terms of both fun and fundraising! This year, we will be hosting the BEF May Soiree on Friday, May 6th, at the Tuscan Kitchen in Burlington. We are hoping that you will take this opportunity to reconnect with the BEF and once again support our annual fundraiser.

To date, the BEF has awarded $300,000 to educators in the Bedford school system. Several of these grants are highlighted on the back of this letter. Students throughout our K–12 school system have benefitted from this funding since 2008. Our generous sponsors and silent auction donors who help make these grants possible are widely publicized on-site at our events, as well as via our website, e-newsletters, social media, and local publications, reaching thousands of community members.

As a valued member of our community, we would like to offer you the earliest opportunity to promote your business at the largest annual evening event solely benefitting Bedford’s schools. Your donation of an item to our silent auction will help ensure the continuation of future pilot programs within our schools while creating a link for your business to the community.

Thank you for your willingness to consider our special request this year. We would be honored to have your support. A member of our silent auction team will follow up with you in the coming weeks. If you would like more information about the Bedford Education Foundation (Tax ID #04-3434763), please contact us at president@bedfordeducation.org.

Sincerely,

Jennifer Kelley
