Description

The Middlesex Community College (MCC) Foundation is grateful to the community for the generous support the college has received over the many years since its founding in 1970. The Foundation is dedicated to raising funds to support our students in need. We are so excited for this year’s Celebrity Forum featuring the legendary Beach Boys, to be held on Tuesday, June 10th at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
The MCC Foundation is proud once again host an evening of iconic music. The Beach Boys are one of the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful bands of all time, with over 100 million records sold worldwide. Between the 1960s and today, the group had over 80 songs chart worldwide, 36 of them in the US Top 40 (the most by a US rock band), and four topping the Billboard Hot 100. Rolling Stone ranked Pet Sounds No. 2 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time,” and The Beach Boys No. 12 on its list of the “100 Greatest Artists of All Time.”
Inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1988 and recipients of The Recording Academy’s Lifetime Achievement GRAMMY Award®, The Beach Boys are a beloved American institution that remains iconic around the world. In addition to performing, members of the Beach Boys will sit down with MCC President Phil Sisson to answer questions about their very long career together.
Included in the evening’s festivities are a raffle and silent auction, with proceeds benefiting MCC students. For this, we are asking for your help. Please consider donating a gift basket, gift cards, sports memorabilia, bottle of wine, or other item. All donors will be highlighted in the event program and on our website.
Please note that all in-kind donations made to our spring event silent auction/raffle, are tax-deductible as allowed by law. The Middlesex Community College Foundation, Inc. Tax ID #04-2973384, is recognized as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization by the Internal Revenue Service.
Celebrity Forum sponsorships are also available. Sponsors and their guests are invited to a private reception and catered dinner at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium, prior to the event; in addition, some sponsorships include additional tickets for general seating. For more information, please contact Sherri McCormack, Dean of College Advancement, at 978.656.3034 or via email at mccormacks@middlesex.edu.
