Our not-for-profit hospital is opening it's own Women's and Children's Clinic. We have never had this at our facility so it will require all things including furniture, medical equipiment, and computers just to name a few. With the opening of the clinic we will also be able to open an obstetrics unit. Currently mothers are having to travel 60 or more miles to deliver their baby. Because of the poor community that we are in many of these women do not receive prenatal care which is dangerous for both mom and baby. The opening of the clinic and our obstetrics department will help these mothers have a place to go that is local without the expense of travel.

 Due to this large expense that will occur with the opening of this we have chosen to host a Gala event. It is our goal that the event will cover the cost to remodel and get the clinic up to current standards. We would love to have a place that women and children feel comfortable going to when needing a healthy or sick visit.
