Hi, my name is Cary Rabon, and I am in the McGowen Elementary PTA Fundraising chair.  PTA's mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. We do this through collaborating with individuals and organizations to broaden and enhance our ability to serve and advocate for all children and families. McGowen Elementary is located in McKinney Texas and is classified as a title I school meaning at least 40% of kids are part of the reduced or free lunch program.

The PTA is looking to raise funds this year in order to provide school enhancements and teacher scholarships. In the past couple years, we were able to provide a book vending machine, repave and paint the blacktop and several thousand in Teacher Scholarships.

To help raise these funds, we are planning a fantastic new event that we are excited and grateful for the opportunity to get you involved.  The event is a silent auction, currently planned for 14 November 2024. In order to make this event a true triumph, we want to ask for your help.

As a leader in the community, you know how important it is to support schools and how much we rely on the community.  With your connections, resources, and incredible history of charity work, I know that together we can make a huge difference.
