Description

For nearly 40 years, High Meadow School (HMS) has been a staple of progressive education in the Mid-Hudson Valley. Located in Stone Ridge, NY, we serve children in Nursery 3 through 8th grade.  At High Meadow School, our mission is to foster creative and intellectual discovery, civic engagement, and personal growth through a relevant and rigorous curriculum.  We strive for a diverse and inclusive culture that honors each child’s approach to constructing knowledge, and encourages risk-taking in academic and artistic pursuits.  High Meadow celebrates the joy of learning and the power of community by joining teachers, students, and parents through volunteerism and school-wide cultural events.

This May, we will launch our 2nd annual Meadow MoCA, a week-long immersive arts exploration beginning May 13th.  Expanding on last year’s success, Meadow MoCA 2023 will: showcase student artwork at Market Street Studio in Ellenville, feature theatrical and musical student performances, offer engaging community arts activities, and provide a Shakespeare theater-arts workshop.  The week will culminate with the Meadow MoCA Gala, on Saturday, May 20, 2023 - an evening of dinner, dancing, a live auction of student artwork, and a silent auction featuring experience-based opportunities.  The Meadow MoCA Gala is our school’s biggest fundraiser of the year and benefits our annual fund, the Campaign for High Meadow, which aims to provide resources that will help our school grow and thrive.

We hope that you will consider helping us make our silent auction a success!  If you are able to contribute an opportunity (for example: a museum membership, a ceramics workshop, a birthday party, tickets to an event) or gift certificate to our silent auction, we would be grateful!

Thank you for your consideration and support.
