We have major beef with low literacy! That's why our nonprofit agency, Literacy Buffalo Niagara, is thrilled to announce that we are hosting our 3rd annual meat raffle on Friday, April 11, 2025 to combat illiteracy rates in our community. All proceeds from the evening will directly benefit our adult literacy tutoring programming in Erie and Niagara counties, helping adults learn to read, write and speak English.

Doors open at 6:00pm, first spin is at 7:00pm sharp

As the region's sole provider of free one-on-one tutoring services in Erie and Niagara counties, our vision is to see all people in our community literate. Right now, a staggering 17.5% of adults in both counties struggle with low literacy levels. Every day, we help adults who rely on our services to improve their literacy skills so sthey can achieve their goals, get a job, help their children with their homework or even achieve citizenship.

We cannot do it alone.

Currently, we are in desperate need of item or gift card donations for our event basket raffle and respectfully request that you consider supporting our literacy programs through an item donation.

Through a donation, you will also directly reach an audience of 300 people dedicated to supporting local business efforts and your organization will be recognized in marketing and announcements at the venue. We strive to make as much of a statement for your business as possible!

Every donation counts. With your generous support, we can further our mission to create lasting change in our community. All proceeds will directly benefit our adult literacy tutoring programs.
