Each year, University Health Foundation hosts the Medical Miracles Gala to raise funds to advance and impact health care here in our local community. Thanks to our community partners' generous and dedicated support, we raised over $800,000 last year to help advance University Health’s Pediatric Burn Center, the only Level I pediatric trauma center in the region.

The 2023 Medical Miracles Gala takes place on Saturday, May 6, at La Cantera Resort and Spa, benefiting patient programs and services for University Health's future Women's and Children's Hospital—the first hospital designated solely for women, children, and babies. As an organization focused on delivering the highest levels of quality and compassionate care, funds raised at this gala will have a powerful impact on advancing treatment and innovative services for patients from across South Texas.
