The Annual Fund Gala is the Millbrae Education Foundation's (MEF's) signature event of the year. Along with a year of new beginnings and endless possibilities, our theme this year is Soaring to New Heights.
MEF raises funds for the Millbrae School District, which serves 2400 public school students in grades TK-8. MEF is run entirely by parent volunteers and all funds raised are given to the School District. The gala is expected to attract 200-250 of our community members and typically accounts for one-third of MEF's funding. A major component of the gala's fundraising is the silent auction. We welcome and are appreciative of all donations of products, experiences, gift certificates, etc. to the MEF auction.
