The Missouri Mental Health Foundation hosts the annual Mental Health Champions' Awards to recognize the determination and advocacy of individuals living with mental illness, addiction disorders, and developmental and intellectual disorders. Each year three remarkable Missourians, who have overcome many challenges to make life better for themselves, others, and their communities, are selected to receive this distinguished award. This event gives us the opportunity to honor these individuals, and celebrate their bravery and resillience in the face of adversity. Not only do we recognize those selected to receive the award, but we also honor those who were nominated, as their accomplishments deserve noteriety. During this event, we host a silent auction to fund mental health advocacy programs for the state of Missouri.
