The Messy Fun Fair is the largest fundraiser of the year.  It will be held on May 3, 2025 from 10am to 2pm at our school in Fremont, CA, with an expected attendance of 300 guests.  This event will offer interactive, messy, and fun activities that will engage children of all ages from our community in creative and hands-on learning experiences. During the event, we will be offering a raffle to raise funds for the school.

We are a parent-run, non-profit preschool serving children ages 2-5 in Fremont, Newark, and Union City areas.  As a Co-Op and parent participation school, each family supports the school by offering their time in the classroom, skills toward programmatic activities and operations,  and maintenance support.  This unique structure has created a close-knit community for our children to feel safe, nurtured, and loved.  

Our school’s purpose is for children to regard themselves as individuals who are worthy of love and belonging.  It is our belief that children are competent individuals and they carry a strong desire to pursue curiosity. Our nature-based program also encourages children to embrace the natural elements of their environments in our outdoor classroom. Their development is optimized through exploration, hands-on activities, and experimentation in our play-based environment. We champion the idea of giving our students the freedom to venture outside whenever they choose, in every season and weather.  We offer scholarships and options for families who want to participate in our school but need support in one or more ways.

As a certified Nature Explore classroom, we are raising money to make improvements to our school building and outdoor classroom spaces, which include our patio, playground, sand box, edible garden, and mud kitchen.  Our fundraising goal this year is $10,000.  

Our donors are recognized in our online catalog on our event webpage.  The event is also shared on our website, social media channels, and to our mailing list.  Each item donated has full color displays at the auction, and individual items are hyped in person during the event.
