The New Braunfels Angels mission is to walk alongside children, youth, and families in the foster care community by offering consistent support through intentional giving, relationship building, and mentorship. We support families, children and youth in Bexar, Comal and Guadalupe counties.

We are hosting a pickleball tournament bringing the community together for friendly competition to support New Braunfels Angels and our mission to provide consistent support, mentorship and love to children in foster care and their caretakers.

Youth in the foster care system face daunting statistics that significantly impact their lives, including 20% becoming homeless upon aging out, 50% of foster homes closing within the first year, only 3% graduating college, and nearly 60% of sex trafficking victims having been former foster youth. Join us in SMASHING these stats and generating revolutionary change to break the cycle for youth in the foster care system with our 1st Annual Smash the Stats Pickleball Bash!

This tournament is for both pickleball enthusiasts and beginners alike. We will have women's, men's and mixed categories in Competitive and Recreational levels. A "recommended" beginners clinic will be available for players the evening of Friday, October 4th from 6:00-7:30 PM for those that wish to attend!
