Read play love is a 501c non- profit that exists to empower children through the arts and create an inclusive culture of love. Since its inception, RPL has existed to share the arts with children of all backgrounds, beliefs, and abilities. RPL offers enrichment opportunities in all the arts, including musical theater and productions. The focus is always on the creative self-discovery of each child by creating empowering experiences and encouraging the development of inclusive collaboration. Every participating child has a role created specifically for them and is given the opportunity to shine and expand their growing edges of confidence and expression in ways that highlight their unique abilities and talents. Because of this, RPL has become a haven for many neurodivergent children who may have difficulty integrating in more traditional theatre settings.

We are currently rehearsing for our Summer Musical, A Midsummer Night’s Rock! ​When a bunch of mismatched kids are thrown together in a Shakespeare Class in summer, a music competition leads them on an unforgettable adventure....a colorful rockin' musical that tells a story with heart through music with soul! The performances are set for August 1st, 2nd and 3rd (Friday-Sunday) at 6:30pm at Wylie Acting Group in Wylie.

To further RPL’s mission, we will be hosting a Silent Auction and Raffle with various prizes at our next production. We hope you will consider donating an auction item, gift basket, or gift certificate. Your tax-deductible donation will be recognized on event programs viewed by parents, staff, and the community. We will also create Facebook and website posts about the silent auction, that will include all donated items up for auction and raffle. All proceeds received will go to adding and continuing innovative classes, activities, theater productions, and maintaining the property and playground equipment.  An auction committee member would be happy to pick up your donated item at your convenience, or you may send it to the read play love address below.
