My Name is Amy Lehaney and I am writing on behalf of the Middlebrook Elementary School PTA. Our school is located in Trumbull, Connecticut and provides a high-quality early education in a nurturing environment for over 500 elementary school children.

We are holding a fundraising event for parents and adults called, Middlebrook’s Midweek Mixer, on Thursday March 29, 2018. The event will feature a Silent Auction. We expect more than 100 people to attend from throughout our community.   We would greatly appreciate any donation your company is willing to contribute to the silent auction to help raise funds for our school.  We are hoping to raise enough funds through this event to provide alternative seating options for all of our classrooms.  Current research in the areas of movement and learning shows that children need and deserve flexible and alternative seating in an environment where they spend almost the whole day five days a week.  Flexible seating includes burning more calories, using up excess energy, increasing motivation, and improving core strength and overall posture.
