We are writing to you on behalf of the Brandon W. Smith Foundation.  This foundation was founded in 2017 to help bring awareness to the impact chronic health issues have on your mental health.  Brandon’s life ended tragically and our mission is to ensure that this does not happen again. The foundation is holding its annual  Midnight Madness, “It’s Midnight Somewhere” event, a no-tap bowling event and tricky tray, on August 4th. This event helps raise funds that the foundation uses to provide scholarships, sponsor related events and bring informational lectures to our young adults about suicide awareness and prevention.  Since our inception we have distributed over $48,000 in scholarships across many school districts. One of our major accomplishments is our continued partnership with the Rockland BOCES, all Rockland County School districts and have expanded to the Yonkers School District to bring suicide awareness training to the teachers and counselors. 

In order to continue our mission, we are asking for your continued support.  Would you be willing to support our efforts with a donation that can be used as raffle prizes in our Tricky Tray event?  These donations will further our efforts for our community.
