The Military Firefighter Heritage Foundation is hosting Annual Firefighter Awards Banquet on March 23, 2024.Events will include the announcement of the Military Firefighter Heritage Foundation’s DOD Fire Emergency Services 2024 Hall of Fame inductees and this year DOD Fire Emergency Services Lifetime Achievement Recipient. We will also be honoring this year’s Louis F Garland DOD Fire Academy Fire Instructor of the Year. This event is our main fundraiser for the year to support our programs.
The Military Firefighter Heritage Foundation is a 501(c) 3 organization, who mission is to preserve the heritage of the military firefighter, to honor those that have fallen in the line of duty, and to support through financial and other means the immediate family members of those that have fallen. When our organization was established, we thought it would take over 10 years to be where we are today. Because of the generosity of sponsors like you, we have been able to complete our current restorations, build a memorial circle, commission a bronze statue, and also establish a scholarship program, which has awarded over $70,000 in scholarship in the past 12 years.
