My name is Marie Truong, and I am the President of the Millbrook PTA, a non-profit organization created in 1985 whose mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. It is with great excitement that I announce that the Millbrook PTA is hosting its 1st Annual Silent Auction on Friday, October 11, 2019 from 5pm - 7pm on our school’s campus. The proceeds from this free event will enable the PTA to enrich the lives of our 600+ students by providing much needed supplies and funding programs such as music, art, field trips, and assemblies—programs that our school district is simply unable to provide due to a 20% budget cut. Having 35% of our student population being low income, it becomes vital to host fundraisers such as our Silent Auction to give our students all the tools they need to succeed.
The key to our success is our Sponsors. Would you consider being a Sponsor by making a donation to our Silent Auction? By making a charitable donation you will find an excellent opportunity to reach new families and customers within our community, garner great appreciation from your loyal customers and be recognized as supporters of Millbrook Elementary School. We anticipate having 200-300 attendees. Your donation would go towards our goal of raising $65,000. We would appreciate any amount or merchandise you are willing to contribute to our Silent Auction, such as a gift certificate, discount coupon, etc. Your business will be featured in our Silent Auction program catalog.
