Description

We are excited to announce that the Minnetonka Preschool and Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) PTO will host its Annual Spring Picnic and Silent Auction on Wednesday, May 18, 2022. Supporters and families of our Preschool and ECFE programs will come together to raise money to sustain and enhance valuable family educational programs and celebrate the end of another fantastic school year! With the generous support of community partners such as yourself, our last event raised over $11,000! We are hoping to once again achieve this goal with the financial support and donations of silent auction items from our community.

The Minnetonka Preschool and ECFE programs are an integral part of the Minnetonka School District. Unfortunately, state funding only makes up a portion of what is needed to operate our valuable programs. The Minnetonka Preschool and ECFE budget consists of state funding, participant fees, grants, and money raised through our multiple fundraising efforts. All funds raised at this event will immediately and directly benefit the programs. Funds support teacher grants, student scholarships, field trips, trained one-on-one support for families, and a future playground update.

The Minnetonka Preschool and ECFE mission is to strengthen families and support all parents by providing the best possible environment for the healthy growth and development of their children.

Our goals are:

●  To help families overcome challenges by providing information, friendship, and support.
●  To provide opportunities for children to discover and learn during the important early years of life.
●  To provide child development, parenting, and community resource information for parents.
●  To begin an effective and satisfying school/home partnership.

Other services that we provide include:
●  Child and family support services.
●  Home visits and Baby Bags to families with new infants.
●  A library of books, toys, and other learning materials throughout the school.
●  Parent education speakers.

We are hopeful that your organization will consider partnering with us through the donation of a silent auction item and/or financial sponsorship. In appreciation for your support, donors and sponsors are given maximum visibility.
