Dear Friends of Mission Bay Music:
Please consider making an in-kind donation (gift cards, items, experiences, etc.) to the Mission Bay Music Program to support music education in our community.
When: Our Music Program Fundraisers will be January 26th 2025 at DeftBrewing and February 27th 2025 at the Soledad Club. All donations will be used in an Auction or Opportunity Drawing.
Why: Funds raised will be used to enhance the funding of the Mission Bay Music Education program. Our program honors the rich tradition of music in our community.
Who we are: The Mission Bay High School (Public) Music Program has grown to serve over 200 students under the direction of MBHS graduate and music director Jean-Paul Balmat. The program started as three classes and now hosts seven different ensembles including a concert band, two choirs, two orchestras, and two jazz ensembles. The school’s top performance ensembles, the Symphony Orchestra, Mambo Orchestra, Swing Choir and Preservationists, are award-winning and known internationally.
