Description

On Thursday, October 24th we are proud to present Monaco, the 21st annual Comfort & Joy Gala, presented by TD Bank Group.  Monaco might be the world’s second-smallest country but what it lacks in size it makes up for in style.  A beautiful and fairy tale-like setting nestled on the Mediterranean between France and Italy with the spectacular backdrop of the Alps, Monaco leaves the real world behind. Travelers escape their daily lives to experience a little glamour by the sea.  Upon arrival at Monaco, gala attendees will experience the region and its offerings while raising funds to support The Darling Home for Kids and children with medical complexities.

I invite you to be part of our annual Comfort & Joy Gala, an inspiring and heartwarming event that changes lives.  This spectacular black-tie gala, which takes place on Thursday, October 24th, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Banquet & Conference Centre in Oakville will be attended by 300 guests from the Greater Toronto Area’s top corporations and some of the region’s most philanthropic families and influential community leaders.  This event has raised in excess of $2.9 Million to support children in our community over the past 20years.

Located in Milton, The Darling Home for Kids is a unique state-of-the-art facility providing respite, hospice palliative and residential care for children who are medically fragile and technology dependent. The proceeds from our Gala helped to build Ontario’s first paediatric respite and palliative care centre, and they continue to fund the Home’s core services each year.
