The Monsters of the Midway is a bicycle criterium race Presented by the University of Chicago Velo & Okay Cycle Club. This race was previously one of the longest running criterium races in Chicago, but has been on hold since 2019. Now we are bringing it back for 2024. The races are broken up into various categories from professional to novice, with junior, women, and open/men categories.

The top three winners for each race will receive either prizes or cash awards depending on the category. There are also opportunities for mid race "primes", which award the winner of a specific lap.
