Description

We host monthly raffles to assist us in our summer and afterschool projects for youth of Middletown CT. It's usually held at the beginning of each month.

The use of funds for our 2024-2025 summer and after-school programs in Middletown, CT, aimed at youth development, has a significant impact on the community. Here's how the allocation of funds can contribute to positive outcomes:

Educational Tutoring:

Funding for qualified tutors and educational resources enhances the academic performance of the participating youth.
Tutors provide one-on-one or small group assistance, helping students with homework, exam preparation, and overall academic improvement.

Enrichment Activities:

Allocating funds for enrichment activities, such as art, music, and sports programs, can contribute to the holistic development of the participants.
These activities foster creativity, teamwork, and physical well-being among the youth.

Field Trips:

Planning educational and recreational field trips can broaden the horizons of the participants, exposing them to new experiences and knowledge.
Museums, cultural institutions, and nature reserves can be included to provide diverse learning opportunities.

Fun and Recreational Activities:

Organizing fun and recreational activities, such as games, team-building exercises, and social events, it creates a positive and inclusive environment.
These activities help build friendships, boost self-esteem, and provide a sense of community.
Nutritional Support:

We also allocate funds for healthy snacks or meals during the programs to ensure that participants have access to nutritious food.
Proper nutrition positively impacts the overall well-being and focus of the youth.

Community Engagement:

Use funds to facilitate community engagement initiatives, such as involving local volunteers, collaborating with businesses, and building partnerships with other organizations.
Community involvement can strengthen the impact of your programs and create a supportive network for the youth.
