Our organization is hosting our annual online auction to raise funds for enrichment services that we provide to the students, faculty, and families at Mountain View Elementary. The auction is our biggest fundraiser of the year. With 40% of our student population classified as low-income, our fundraising efforts are vital to providing extra support to these vulnerable families in our communities. Some of the programs we supplement throughout the year are extracurricular activities, library books, and classroom materials for teachers. This year our goal is to raise $10,000 to provide literacy coaching to the at-risk students in our community. Literacy coaching will allow these students the opportunity to catch up to their peers and could be key to helping them reach their fullest academic potential.
