Movie Night at the Settlement
Other Event Type for Northwestern University SettlementFeb 25, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Hello! Northwestern Settlement is a Chicago-based non-profit that aims to disrupt generational poverty by empowering youth and families. We achieve this mission by operating several core programs, including Early Childhood Education, Rowe Charter School, Out-of-School Time Programs, Family CARES Community Mental Health Center, Food Pantry & Emergency Services, and House In The Wood, our campground that provides outdoor education. Our work reaches around 20,000 individuals each year from all over Chicago. We meet people's basic needs by providing food and essentials while empowering families to thrive through mental healthcare, education, and more.
We are hosting two movie night events at our on-site theater and were hoping you could help us with raffle prizes. Our theater, the Vittum Theater, is located at 1012 N Noble St. in Chicago, IL. The theater seats up to 300, and we anticipate at least 250 people will attend each event.
The first Movie Night is Sunday February 25, 2024, from 1:00 - 4:00 pm. We will show Encanto as a sing-along movie afternoon geared toward children. There will also be Encanto-themed activities and crafts for guests. Tickets will include popcorn, snacks, and a drink.
We will recognize sponsors on our social media accounts, website, and in a special thank you email to attendees of the events. Additionally, we will feature our sponsors on invitations and flyers for the events.
We are looking for product, swag, gift cards, or any other items to include as a raffle prize in order to reach our fundraising goal. These items will help us raise critical funds that will support the education and well-being of underserved families in Chicago.
