MSLF Spring Benefit
Gala/Party for Montessori School of Lake ForestApr 05, 2025 from 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM
Dear Community Member,
We are excited for our upcoming annual Spring Benefit, themed Good Things Grow Here, which will take place on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the Knollwood Club in Lake Forest. We would love to partner with you as a sponsor for our event or to include an item from your organization in our live or silent auction.
The Spring Benefit is our school’s largest fundraiser, and this year we are excited to raise money to support building a new greenhouse on our campus. This new greenhouse would be used by our gardening enrichment program, which currently provides lessons to our students, from age 15 months to grade 8. Our campus currently has a small greenhouse and several raised garden beds, and our goal is to expand our gardening space into a year-round space where all students can learn about plant lifecycles and sustainability. It would also provide curriculum enhancements for older students, adding the ability for students to have a true “garden-to-market” experience when learning about microeconomy. To achieve this goal, we need your help!
Our Spring Benefit connects with more than 150 members of our community, including current and alumni families. Last year through sponsorships, donations, and funds raised during the silent auction, we were able to introduce our new music enrichment program. Your support will help us reach our goal and begin our planning for our new greenhouse, which we hope to have open by the start of the 2026-27 school year.
The Good Things Grow Here event program book also provides an opportunity for you to promote your business to our community of over 120 families from Lake Forest, Lake Bluff, Libertyville, Highland Park/Highwood and surrounding communities. We hope you will also consider placing an ad in our program book as an additional way to promote your business to our community.
Thank you for your consideration and for helping us continue our efforts to provide an excellent Montessori education to children in our community. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our Engagement Coordinator, Cassie Naeymi-Rad, at cassie@mslf.org.
