Description

The Lawrene Brook PTA is hosting our first annual Murder Mystery Date Night event. We are looking for a fun new way to help raise funds for our wonderful school and what is more fun that a little murder mystery!

This event will be held at a local Knights of Columbus and we will have approximately 200 people attending the event. We are looking for sponsors to sponsor our specialty drink of the evening a "Morgue-arita", a sponsor for our photobooth, and of course sponsors for our mini tricky tray event. We are looking for donations that would be suitable for couples. For example, a night out at the Symphony, or a couples massage, a resort getaway or any donations worth $100 or more.

The Lawrence Brook PTA strives to have more in-school programming than most PTA's in our district. We have a minimum of three(3) in-school assemblies, mutliple family fun night events, Trunk or Treat, International Night, Staff appreciation gifts and so much more. We have recently added a sensory friendly family movie event into our gifts that we give to the school every year. This received such wonderful feedback and we hope to be able to continue to provide this family event year after year. Our school also has one of the largest free/reduced lunch student population at the elementary level in our school district. In order for those students to not feel left out of our events, the PTA provides shopping vouchers at our Holiday Shoppe, bi-annual book fairs, and our spring flower sale. We have also provided those students with a school spirit wear t-shirt so that all students are able to participate in our weekly Friday spirit days.

All of these events have been made possible by the generous donations of our sponsors and we hope to be able to give back to our school community as the year progresses.
