The Toms River East High School Marching Band is getting ready for our Music in Motion home show on October 26, 2004.  Which is also the Tournament of Bands State Championships.  We will have approximately 25 bands in attendance from across the state and more then 3500 spectators.  This event is our big fundraiser of the year.  It will support the Toms River High Schools East music education program that offers a multitude of opportunities that promote the developement of our young people through their participation in the performing arts.  Money raised from our event helps to provide educational programs and  activities outside of those provided by the school district.  It helps to repair and or the replacement of instruments, purchase props for our marching band season, competition costs, travel expenses, pay for band technicians, etc.  We also provide an annual scholarship for a dedicated band program participant.
