Mx Studio is an annual performance event hosted by The Studio Theatre to raise funds for our theatre organization. As a nonprofit theatre company, ticket sales only go so far to support our entertaining productions and outreach programs. The success of Mx Studio will significantly impact our longevity, ability to provide high quality entertainment, and engage with our community outreach programs.

This event is particularly critical as our theatre company emerges from the significant impact of COVID-19, in which our indoor theatre closed for several months. The Studio Theatre has many challenges ahead that need your support including providing free educational programming for underserved youth, supporting operations, and securing a permanent home space for our theatre programming

Mx Studio will be held on January 21 and 22nd, 2022. We are seeking item donations for our silent and live auctions and appreciate your consideration for a donation. For a donation from your company, we would be happy to offer free advertising in our show playbills.

Mx Studio is a two day lip sync battle. On the first night, participants under the age of 18 may compete while the second night is for adult lip sync competitors. These battles are performed in character with songs from beloved Broadway shows and previous productions at The Studio Theatre. Attendees will get to vote for their favorite performer in different categories and have the opportunity to buy some extra votes for the singing competition.

Accompanying this performance will be a silent and live auction of items from around the state of Arkansas, unique gifts, experiences, and more. These funds will be used to support our productions, educational programming, and operations.
