The Scotts Valley Educational Foundation (SVEF) exists to fundraise and advocate for critical educational programs that allow our students to learn and thrive.  We serve as Scotts Valley Unified School District’s primary nonprofit fundraising organization, serving all four of our public schools (Brook Knoll, Vine Hill, Scotts Valley Middle School and Scotts Valley High School). We are dedicated to closing the gap between a basic state-funded public education and academic excellence on par with the best schools in the area.  We recognize that student success is directly tied to per-pupil spending, and respond to the reality that Scotts Valley schools are underfunded and need to be supplemented with community funding to offer crucial staff and programs for our schools. These programs include: counseling services, libraries, music programs, technology and teacher training programs.  SVEF is an all-volunteer organization and relies on donations and community support. 

 
One of our largest and most anticipated fundraisers of the year, the “My VIP and Me Family Dance,” is coming up on September 20th and we are seeking donations for our raffle. This is a great opportunity to support public schools and market your organization, not only to the Scotts Valley community, but the surrounding Santa Cruz communities as well.
